We began with fried mushrooms since we were really hungry. Unfortunately, it was clear they were frozen, which seems increasingly common these days. My partner ordered a Bloody Mary, but the bartender overfilled the glass, giving him two. While that initially seemed like a bonus, the drink itself was disappointing—we couldn't even finish one, so the extra went to waste. I would much prefer one well-made drink over two subpar ones. I had an excellent experience with the home-cooked food at this restaurant! The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, which is a refreshing change from many places these days. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a charming pub-like vibe. John, the owner, and his son Nick are genuinely kind individuals who truly care about whether you enjoyed your meal. I wholeheartedly recommend this lovely establishment to everyone, and it’s also quite affordable. I generally enjoy the food here, but I've had some frustrating experiences with the waitstaff. Each time I've visited, the waitress insists that the egg whites can't be separated from the yolks, even though the cook manages to do it effortlessly each time—seriously, it only takes ten seconds! Despite my calm approach, she has been quite rude and has even mocked me a couple of times. The service leaves a lot to be desired, but the food? It's really quite good.

A charming spot with a vintage bar vibe and tasty American cuisine. I dropped by during a biking trip and had a wonderful experience. They offer everything from burgers and BLTs to breakfast options. Absolutely perfect! I only wish I had discovered this place years ago! I've tried several dishes from their menu, and I haven't been disappointed yet. Their prices are fantastic, and each time I go, I find that one meal is enough to give me two servings, which makes it quite a bargain. We really appreciate the service and will definitely be coming back many times!

I definitely want to return and sample more of the menu. However, I have to admit that the world-famous fried chicken does not live up to its reputation; I'm not even sure it's known locally. On a positive note, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the restaurant has a charming historic vibe.

We enjoyed the Philly steak burger and the corned beef burger, accompanied by breaded mushrooms and onion rings. The service was quick and everything was fresh. Our waitress Sheila was fantastic. The atmosphere was filled with positive vibes. We'll definitely return on our next visit to town!
