Uncle Julio's Hacienda Wheat Ridge

My husband and I had been anxiously awaiting the opening of this restaurant for months. We thought that it was associated with Hacienda Colorado. The salsa has a very different flavor than Hacienda Colorado. It had a smokier flavor. It was alright but not what I was expecting. Food was good but expensive. We had a reservation and were sat right next to the bathroom so constantly had people walking by our table which we did not appreciate in light of the current health scare. The server did share the policy changes to make the restaurant safer which was appreciated. Overall our experience was fine. I probably would drive further to Hacienda Colorado to get their salsa that I love versus going...

We were super stoked to try this place out since we live in the area. Great huge building with awesome ambience that lacks in the department of service! We waited over minutes for our drinks (they had bartender on for the whole place and 0 acknowledgment from the managers that there was a problem. Food was good but there overpriced chocolate piñata was sub standard with rock hard churros and a few French fries...

We are so happy to have a quality Mexican restaurant in our neighborhood. Food And service are fantastic A guys keep it up. We will be back can't wait for the summertime patio

We had a reservation for 6:30, but were seated at 6:40. However, the food and service were good overall. The margaritas were great.
