Une Affaire de Famille

My wife and I had a lovely three course meal for lunch here on a Saturday after perusing the nearby markets. We happened upon the place after seeing nearby stallholders with trays taking meals back to their stalls to eat.We sat inside and it was busy with a number of tables reserved for lunch. Despite this the staff were friendly and very tolerant of our lack of knowledge of French. The food was delicious including a particularly tasty French take of fish and chips that I really enjoyed. The house wine was also affordable and very drinkable.The final surprise was how amazingly cheap it was. a three course meal for two, 50cL of wine and a coffee for €28! What an unpleasant experience! Food was just correct and I'm still shocked by the scene we witnessed between the tenants of the restaurant and two other women they literally assaulted in front of all the clients. I don't know exactly what the argument was about but my French is good enough to understand what the tenants said about their clients, and it showed a clear lack of respect.

This is our favourite place to stop for a spot of lunch. Always warmly greeted by the lovely owners. Always great food with so much flavour and great portion size. Great atmosphere and vibe we just love the place. If you're ever passing you must pop in.

We had a great lunch here after touring the Sacre Coeur. We enjoyed every bite of our meal with the locals and will definitely come back when we're in Paris again. Thank you!

It's alright. Food was better than average but I wasn't blown away. Sweets are better. Service was nice although a bit slow. (Almost) fully packed at lunch on week-end.
