I really wanted to like this place, but it just wasn't for me. I'm still learning my way around Tucson, and I didn't realize it was Downtown and I would have to pay for parking. The parking took a lot of my time, and I was already racing a clock. I took my food to go, but ran out of time and had to eat my lunch later in the day. The salad didn't hold up well on those couple hours. I'm really not sure what the goopy topping was, but it was pretty gross and I ended up throwing the salad away after a few bites. Very nifty restaurant, which makes the most satisfying Vegan version of the BLT sandwich in the entire Tucson area. You can also find a fresh juice or smoothie to satisfy your personal tastes. The menu is pretty big and the service is fast, but not rushed. If you want to eat light or get filled up comfortably, try my favorite small restaurant in Tucson. The bonus is, it's healthy food all the way around!

This place is great. If you're visiting Tuscon for the first time make this your first stop like we did. After a long flight we got refreshed and refueled on wraps, smoothies and juices. Then got ALL the local food recs and travel tips from Chauncey, the wonderful owner of this spot. He clearly has a deep affection for the city and the good food and people in it, and deserves all the loves he gets back.

My sister and I were so excited to find this vegan gem while in town for the day. Beyond the delicious smoothies and baked goods, we were met with the most kind and thoughtful customer service. Chauncey even helped us plan out our sightseeing! We had such a wonderful experience here at urban fresh!Food: 5/5
