Due to the disrespectful and defensive response from the new management, I have downgraded my review to one star. This is a significant shift from the positive experience I had during my initial visit in June. The management's response lacked any genuine apology and instead seemed confrontational, which is disappointing. During my first visit, I dined in the restaurant with two companions, one of whom shared the ranch wings with me. On my most recent visit, I was again accompanied by someone else. Recommend and definitely will come again. In my first visit, i had stuffed pigeons with rice it was good, bamya (okra) was incredibly delicious. Molokheya was good, not a big fan tbh. In the second visit, we decided to try their fish. And this was a great decision. I ordered red snapper sangari, which is a whole fish marinated and has veggies (onions, tomatoes, pepper) on top, served with rice and shrimp with salads. It was perfect truly!! During my stay in Cleveland for some appointments at the Cleveland Clinic, I stopped by for an early lunch. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I tried the gyro omelette and the corned beef hash with eggs, and everything was fantastic! I haven't had corned beef hash this good in years. Each dish was flavorful and generously portioned. The food was amazing. The service was friendly and very knowledgeable. Being from out of town, we didn't know what was good here or what they were popular for. My family of 4 went and tried a little of everything. It was all delicious. The Egyptian menu has several dishes that you can only find here while in Cleveland. It was an excellent experience. The whole fried red snapper was probably the best, but it is only available on Friday and Saturday.
I was in town for a concert and decided to grab a bite to eat beforehand. I searched for nearby restaurants and found this one. Parking was a bit tricky, but the staff was friendly and the portions were generous. I couldn't choose between two entrees, so I ended up ordering one to go. Both were pretty good—meatloaf, spicy shrimp, and chicken. My wife also said her meal was tasty.
While at the Cleveland Clinic I asked around for good places to eat nearby. Most people referred me here. I was not disappointed! Great menu and good prices. I order the Yaz burger with bacon. Wow it was huge! Definitely did not disappoint. Even the breakfast menu looked really good. Next time I'm in town I'll be sure to stop by. Definitely worth coming here.
We stumbled upon this restaurant while in search of a delicious chicken salad. The ambiance inside is laid-back and inviting. I tried the Farmer's salad, and the ingredients were well-chosen. The Urban Kitchen and Deli was a great place for lunch! The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. The menu was awesome and included burgers, sammiches, Egyptian cuisine, and more! Our family ordered a Reuben, a chicken sandwich, soup, and a chicken wrap. Everything tasted amazing!
