Urban Plates, where have you been my whole life!! Great food, great service, great prices! The Steak sandwich is really masterpiece of aromas and textures that deserves a place on the menu in the sky. Now that I have your attention, let me tell you the story of our first visit to Urban Plates. It was a birthday dinner on a Sunday evening with a big party of 30-50 people. The birthday boy arranged with management to reserve a whole section of the dining area for our group. I don't think they really take reservations so it was nice to take us. I liked it. Nothing spectacular but good food, plenty of options, fresh and at reasonable prices. Also fast and efficient service. Their steak was good to perfection and the sides of carrots/potatoes and turkey bacon/brussel sprouts were really good. I’d definitely come back here.

I don't often give a five-star rating when it comes to restaurants. What I love about Urban Plates is the quality of food and value. The food was fast and most important, DELICIOUS!!!! Well worth the experience and I would say better than Tender Greens.

Great gluten-free experience. Remember the checkout to remove the bread as it comes on the dish on the Entrée itself. Large vegan and vegetarian options.

Delicious organic food and desserts. I love the Chimichurri Steak plate when I come here. Free validation parking in front of Del Mar.
