I walked for 40 minutes to try the chicken at US Chicken, full of anticipation. However, when I arrived, the owner appeared distracted by the TV, and it took several attempts to get his attention. Despite his claims that the fried chicken was fresh and halal, it was evident that it had been sitting in the oven for quite a while. The mashed potatoes I ordered were old and cold, and unfortunately, they were out of both white sauce and ranch dressing. The chicken did not live up to my expectations, and it seemed like the owner was not fully invested in the food quality. To top it off, there was a discrepancy between the advertised price and what I was charged, which only added to my frustration...
Soooo, as you can see, i was supposed to have Chicken and Lamb over Rice, Salad, and Soda. i got the soda, there was no rice (which was no issue cause i could make some at home), i have a gorgeous looking salad and they even gave me an extra side of mac and cheese since i couldnt get my rice, which i was VERY grateful for. my problem comes w the meat. theres no chicken NOR lamb on my plate. instead, there are cut up pieces of hamburger patties mixed in w the saladif there were any substitutions, i shouldve been advised. simple as that
I spent $32 on the 21-piece mixed chicken special, large fries, and four sodas. When I asked the guy if the food was fresh—since there was a lot in the case and the fries were already boxed—he assured me it was. But when I got home to my family, it was clear I had made a mistake. The chicken was old, and the fries must have been sitting in the warmer since before the pandemic. Definitely never again, and I’m going back to demand a refund.
It's your regular chicken spot, it's small and doesn't look clean but if you can get over that you'll be coming back for more. As all the other surrounding restaurants in the area it has homeless and beggars outside. But overall the taste of the food is great, the customer service is good and the portions are acceptable for the price. I highly recommend their grilled chicken salad with the gyro sauce. Us Fried Chicken offers a decent menu with nothing particularly exceptional. The staff are friendly and welcoming. My only issue is the owner frequently raising prices, which feels excessive. Food: 3/5
This is my favorite spot to visit before a game. The hot wings are fantastic! It was my first game since the pandemic, and I enjoyed 20 wings for just $20. Absolutely excellent!
