Valentins - Das Flammkuchenhaus

Chose to stay in Konigstein im Taunus after arriving in Frankfurt for it's cobbled old town. It is a delightful place not frequented by Americans. Having read about flammkuchen, we wanted to try it there. Wow! Had the cheese, onion and mushrooms . It is similar to the Alsatian tarte but better. Other items in the small restaurant were good also.

Food is always delicious, schnitzel is the way I like it and flammkuchen Is their specialty. I’ll miss Valentins a lot when I move. Delivery is a bit slow if you live in Kelkheim.

Great place to get some German "Flammkuchen"! Tasty and something different from the related pizza. Though be aware that it first opens at 5pm, so no lunch - sadly.

On a side street in Konigstein, full of locals, with traditional Frankfurter food and beers... Pizza as well for those who want them.
