Valentins - Das Flammkuchenhaus

Chose to stay in Konigstein im Taunus after arriving in Frankfurt for it's cobbled old town. It is a delightful place not frequented by Americans. Having read about flammkuchen, we wanted to try it there. Wow! Had the cheese, onion and mushrooms . It is similar to the Alsatian tarte but better. Other items in the small restaurant were good also.

we have been dating since summer 2021 and absolutely right! we have never been disappointed, it is always fresh, mega tasty and the carving is the highlight. to this you have to say that the owner is a very dear man!

Great place to get some German "Flammkuchen"! Tasty and something different from the related pizza. Though be aware that it first opens at 5pm, so no lunch - sadly.

the carvings were very good (meat top quality the pommes were unfortunately already cold and no longer crispy at arrival, so a star to descend very friendly driver! Reserva una mesa ahora

Eat came completely cold, and warmed-up flame-cake just doesn't taste. even the salate looked all the other than fresh. very disappointing this time.

the food was very good, we had different carvings. only the service was not completely fulfilled. but very friendly driver. I want to order again.

On a side street in Konigstein, full of locals, with traditional Frankfurter food and beers... Pizza as well for those who want them.
