To be fair, we had pizza by the slice and pre-made, reheated calzone at 3pm, so it wasn't fresh. The red sauce was really good, liked the seasoning and not to sweet, just right for my taste. I liked the chicken calzone better than the pepperoni. The pepperoni was just stacked to thick on top of itself bc of being folded in the dough vs. laying spread out on a slice. The staff was helpful and pleasant and it was a perfect spot to pull in and grab some good za!
On a recent roadtrip with friends, we stumbled upon this pizza place and it was a diamond in the rough!! Tony, the owner/chef is an amazing chef. Everything we had was delicious: pizza, black bean soup, the turkey bacon wrap special ... and portions are huge! The counter guy (Tony 2? was hilarious and the locals were very friendly! I highly recommend Valtoris!!
This is one of the best restaurants in Rye. The food is consistently excellent, and Tony will work with you to customize your order. He has created and delivered delicious, crowd-pleasing meals for our office payday lunches that left everyone wanting more. Hands down, the best salads around, too. This will quickly become your go-to dinner place.
Spectacular little local Italian joint. Great hidden treasures in this place. Nonna meatballs.... awesome. This is the best pizza I have had in the area! They were able to deliver to a large group of us on relatively short notice and everyone enjoyed the pizza. All of the pizzas were very good but the white lightening pizza was a huge hit!
We loved the experience and the food we enjoyed at Valtori. Everything we order was excellent. The owner and the staff were very friendly and served our food quickly.
