"Really good experience just the two of us had the set menu where we had some small amuse bouche still starters, 2 appetizers, and 2 entrees. The pho short rib grilled cheese was awesome, as was the duck (mi Viet tiem)."

I brought my mom and sister here and we had a delicious meal in a truly beautiful space. The restaurant itself is warm and inviting with beautiful decor. We shared a bottle of one of their skin contact wines and decided to try the set menu, which was definitely the right choice. We all ordered different things to be able to sample as much of the menu as possible and loved every single dish. Highlights were the fried mochi balls, short rib grilled cheese, beef tartare, and beef main dish. I also highly recommend the Sapa Express cocktail if you like a Manhattan/old fashioned-style drink. Above all the service was amazing and our server helped explain how to eat all the dishes and helped custo...

Nice Vietnamese restaurant in East Village. Would recommend the Bahn Beo rice cakes, stir fry noodles, Mi Vi Tiem (roasted five spice duck with noodles) and taro dumpling soup. The rice cakes have chicharron (fried pork rinds) which add flavor and crunch. The duck noodle dish is very tasty. The taro dumpling soup makes for a nice dessert especially on a cold day.The dishes are a bit pricey for the quantity, but the quality and flavor make up for it. They have both a la carte and set menus.

Needed this. Host walked me through menu and recommendations. Sat at bar; started with fun short rib grilled cheese fun and perfect with pho dipping sauce and squeeze bottle hot sauce. Went with shaking beef for main tender, flavorful, delicious. Wine was whatever the German orange thingy which was great food wine (I should write these things down). Perfect service even gave me an extra pour of wine.

A delightful experience from start to finish! We did the tasting menu and the shareable plates were absolutely excellent. Really surprising, a couple of the best bites I think we had at a dinner in some time. The entrée portions are actually fairly large so when they talk about sharing family style, I think you can limit the entrées and the appetizers.
