I simply cannot understand the concept of this place. My husband and I went there for dinner tonight with our 2 year old daughter. I was after an antipasto platter and my husband wanted pasta. First problem: to order you need to line up (for a very long time) in two separate queues. I went and ordered my food and my husband then went to order his pasta.it took him half an hour, in which I had to look after my daughter on my own while going to pick up my order. The kids' high chairs are sturdy and lovely but don't have straps, so you really cannot rely on them to safely restrain a toddler. My girlfriend and I (plus kids) enjoy going to Vapiano's for the good food and the good service. We like to sit outside on the deck and view Cavill Ave from above (it's surfers, u don't know what you will see). All the food at Vapiano's is great. So much to choose from. Another great thing is fresh herbs all around the restaurant so you can grab some basil and throw on your pizza or pasta.The bar is really well stocked with plenty to choose from. Beers , wine or cocktails. One of the best things I like about Vapiano is the card system.... everyone gets a card that you can put your own costs to, so it's awesome for group bookings , or parties. The concept in this restaurant is terrible. I waited in the pasta line for 30 minutes & then had to wait for the chef to cook the pasta in front of me and then cpi had to carry them all back to the table. In the meantime my husband lined up for the pizza orders in a different area & waited at the table & the pizzas were ready before the pasta so we didn't eat at the same time. This is not what I want to do when going out for dinner at a RESTAURANT. It is more like a take away shop but restaurant prices!! New experience , once you enter a card is given to replace the order on it or pizzas, pasta, appetizers, drinks & once your oder is ready the buzzer which is collected on the counter shall alarm you to pick it up . After finishing your experience give the casher that card and simply pay .

We went there on a Sunday with out kids. Not many people were there. The food was good even the quality in Europe is higher. In a Original Calzone there is no salami, but a egg. In a standardized restaurant all over the world should the recipes be the same.
Ich war schon bei vielen Vapiano's weltweit und mir gefällt es immer gut! Das Essen ist lecker und das Prinzip easy. Der Vapiano ist Surfer's Paradise hat eine gute Lage und ist riesig, mit toller Außenterasse!
Just the whole thing about watching my own meals being made is very satisfying . The lines can sometimes be really long but it's well and truly worth it !! Very yummy and great atmosphere
We had a vegetarian & vegan meal and we had so many options! Our food was so delicious! A lot of them seemed like quite simple meals/ingredients but the taste, by far made up for that!

I really like this place, I have tried it in other Countries and think the concept is great. The food feels fresh when cooked in front of you. Great selection and good flavours.
Well managed and dedicated designed. A great spot for a not-going-to-go-wrong meet up place for causal work dinning and/or friends meet up.
