A gem of a restaurant on Lakeshore. The food, service and atmosphere is A+We tried their summerlicious menu and was blown away by their sumptuous menu. Each course offers 5-6 choices and every dish is exquisite with a generous portion.Our server Edwin is a cheerful gentleman and made our dining experience a memorable one.Lobster Crab Tian is the winner based on the repetitive compliments by the guests on our table but in my opinion every dish holds the first place ?A definite repeat for an intimate dining experienceTip: we were informed you can BYOB and pay the corkage fee. My husband took me to Veloute for dinner and we could not have been more impressed with the food and the service. The personnel including the owner made us feel like we were the only ones at the restaurant. They were attentive but not overly so. Friendly and considerate. The food was fantastic perfectly cooked and seasoned. But by far the dessert took the prize. I love my cheesecake. It is my go to dessert. The cheesecake at Veloute is the absolute BEST I have ever tasted. I am already making plans to return.
The food was absolutely delicious! Service was incredible!! Special thanks to chef Fawzi he took such wonderful care of us.. in addition to preparing our dinners, he helped my daughter to the table via the stairlift. It’s a privilege to celebrate special events at a place where you are valued. Will definitely return!
Nothing very special, the servers were very friendly but they didn’t communicate well with each other which left us in limbo and unable to order until we could sort the miscommunication. Food was pretty good, not amazing. The desserts were lacklustre. Ambience was just okay. Overall it was acceptable but not great.
