We have live in JoCo for 4 years and teased about going to Venero's for awhile. Finally, we did! Sad we been missing out. The food was spectacular. I got the seafood pasta dish. Can't recall the name, but it the pricest item on the menu $19.50). The price on the menu is quite affordable. Hubby got the Lasagna. Huge portion. The garlic knots were a knock out success. To wrap up our lunch, had an Espresso. Fresh! It was a heavenly meal. The service was personable. Friendly staff. New York based. We will brag about this place and return. For sure!!
We ordered 12 wings, 2 slices of pizza with extra toppings on both, and 2 side salads, along with Sprite and Coke, all for $31.31—not a bad deal for lunch! As for their specialties, the pizza slices (one with pepperoni and one with Italian sausage) were a bit floppy and could have used more toppings, but I’m not a huge pizza fan anyway. The atmosphere was very clean, and the prices seemed reasonable for such a popular place. I would definitely return when I'm in the neighborhood!
This is one of my top picks! Every time my daughter visits Nebraska, this is the first restaurant we go to. The food is exceptional, and the dining room staff is warm and inviting. The prices are reasonable too. The managers have really nailed it; other restaurants should take note of their business model. Give it a try—you won't be disappointed!
The perfect sanitary score of 100 displayed on the wall is quite impressive, especially considering this isn’t a new building. In my view, everything about this restaurant is outstanding—from the menu and portion sizes to the flavors, freshness, and consistently excellent service. I would give it six stars if I could!
