First visit to this restaurant after passing it by many times was greeted with a smile when walked through the door we choose food from there Sunday buffet menu all was ok very typical of Indian cuisine wasn’t as good as the fat Buddha across the road quite small portions but enough but it was the smallest onion Bhaji I’ve ever had in a Indian restaurant the waiters were very pleasant found the drinks a rip off £4.50 for a pint of coke They won’t serve water from the tap you can only purchase bottled water plus if you want to take food home with you expect to shell out another £3.50 for the containers to take home your already purchased food find this as poor customer service so I can’t see...

The staff at the restaurant are friendly, but when my food arrived, I questioned if the curry they served me was what I had ordered. The waiter said he would check with the chef, but did not come back with an answer. I asked him again to check because the curry was completely different from what I had ordered, but once again, he did not bother. The food was bland at best, and I would recommend trying a curry from Tesco if you prefer some spice.

A group of 9 went out for a birthday celebration, we had an ok meal, but we where caught out on the service charge! when has it been the norm to add a service charge to a bill, as the first item?, and then of course, we added a 10% tip to the final amount. so low and behold we paid over £80.00, and when we were paying the bill, the staff didn't explain that service had already been added!! you could say it was a mistake, or sharp practice?

Booked a table for 4 well over a month ago via the restaurant online method...confirmed at time of booking....recieved further email day before confirming booking....get to restaurant...no booking....oh really...will squeeze you in...another table came in after...no booking...get seated before us. Food lovely...no complimentary drink..bit underwhelmed or apology...so moral of this story...check your online booking... Reserva una mesa ahora

The food and service at this restaurant are fantastic. I moved to France in 2019 but returned to visit friends and enjoy a curry here. The Maitre D remembered us, even though we hadn't been back in 4 years. I highly recommend this place - all the dishes we ordered were excellent quality, especially the Chattinad, which was delicious as always. I can't wait for our next trip!

Another very enjoyable visit to our favourite Berkhamsted restaurant. The delicious food never fails to please, next time I must resist my favourite dish, Chicken Nawabi , and order something new. It's not only the food but the service and friendliness are also 1st class. Looking forward to our next visit already.

All the classic Indian favourites cooked to perfection balti was my favourite with a really friendly team. Takeaways always very reliable but can‘t beat actually eating in the restaurant

Berkhamsted has many restaurants, this doesn’t need to be one of them. Made us pay cash without any sort of apology and the food was average at best. Reserva una mesa ahora

The Tuesday night special offers a choice of any 3 courses. The value is excellent and the food is absolutely superb. The service is outstanding.
