Chose Vetro for a birthday celebration on a Friday evening and it was incredible. We had not been there before. From being warmly greeted to receiving excellent service it was a perfect evening. I started out with a garden salad (specially made due to dietetic requirements) and my guest had a spicy pasta dish for appetizer. For the main course I enjoyed garlic crusted salmon and my partner had pork chop both were amazing. Topped it off with apple cobbler and gelato which was enough to share. By the way, the specially crafted cocktails were top notch as well. In the background a singer entertained us the whole night long. Este es un encantador restaurante italiano del viejo mundo que recuerda a otro tiempo. Era un día de nieve y el restaurante no estaba lleno para almorzar, pero la comida era excelente. El pan era fresco y delicioso. El minestrone casero era ligero y fragante. Los camarones eran excelentes. Era el cumpleaños de mi novia, y nuestro camarero, por iniciativa propia, trajo un delicioso postre con un mensaje de chocolate. Volveremos en cualquier caso.
Buena comida y servicio. El personal es muy amable y muy servicial para nuestros dos hijos. Todos comimos hasta que estuvimos llenos y nos metimos en los bolsillos con dos comidas más por valor de comida. Gran restaurante de barrio y buena comida italiana. Recomendaría el Calimari como entrante que puede mantenerse al día con lo mejor que Chicago tiene para ofrecer. ¡Volveremos 10 de 10 experiencias! ????????

Always an exceptional experience. The chef knows exactly how to prepare and present each dish. The wait staff is pleasantly attentive and knowledgeable. The ambiance is tasteful and the noise level is low so you can actually have a conversation. Never disappoints!! Bravo!

Everything was wonderful as it always is. It was my fathers 80th bday and there was confetti and a nice card on the table waiting for us. A great personal touch. Will def keep coming back.
eating is always amazing, the drinks are always amazing, and the service is always amazing. I recommend vetro to anyone looking for a nice night.
