We initially drove past this restaurant with rooms and decided to turn round and give it a try-we were in our Motorhome so parking for us needs to be considered! Very friendly welcome and we sat with coffees and our dog on the terrace as we were a little before they opened for lunch at 12. Chose from the menu of the day with a delicious Normandy style mushrooms in a cream and cheese sauce with bacon lardons, piping hot and plenty of french bread and french butter, followed by a faux fillet steak, chips and salad cooked exactly as asked and a crepe with salted caramel sauce,ice cream and chantilly cream. We were able to discover during our stay this establishment and we absolutely do not regret to be stopped there! an excellent warm and friendly welcome from the owners who receive you with smile and kindness. We had the opportunity to dine 2 nights in a row and were able to enjoy the kitchen of this talented chef (with a big blow of heart for the chorizo risotto that I loved.!) from the home kitchen with quality products everything was perfect!
We've had a family dinner recently. the reception and service were really neat, the boss was really cared for with the children, which is pleasant. family atmosphere. The meal was good and well presented, however nothing memorable. a nice and convenient restaurant when staying in a guest room in the corner.

It's quite by chance that we stopped in this restaurant on the road for lunch.Everything is homemade, and it's very good. I put an average note because we are far from a gastro restaurant. A very good mention for the reception that is very pleasant.
Absolutely fantastic meal, owners are very friendly and service is second to non. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. The restaurant offers plenty of alternatives to the usual Dordogne fayre.
