via ghibellina use to be my going to the restaurant when I take friends to birthday. good Italian kitchen and service pretty good. but on this Saturday the service was absolutely terrible, as we had a waiter, who said that she has been working there for a few months. she claimed to have been trained as a bartender with knowing about wein. you know about wein couldn't be any further from truth. another great meal in the via ghibellina! that is the best Italian restaurant in the city. eating and wein is amazing and the personal is fantastic. we started with the fritto miso, then the cacio e pepe, ragu and branzino.

this is not only an average quarter of Italian place that eat is as prepared as in the best restaurants in the dmw. the service is also excellent. a uber to ivy city.
