Peruvian/Spannish fusion. A small restaurant with capacity for maybe 20 covers, they are understandably 'reservation only ', which we didn 't know so turned up on spec and they very kindly accommodated us. The 2 waiting staff were relaxed but efficient, kindly and knowledgable. It must be said: this was one of the best 1 Michelin star restaurants we 've eaten in. The detail and variety in the menu was highly impressive and the multitude of dishes very well choreographed.
Quizás el mejor restaurante con estrella Michelin en el que hemos estado. La historia detrás del menú era tentadora y estuvo brillantemente narrada a través de los platos. Los sabores eran creativos y bien equilibrados, y la presentación fue de 10/10. La influencia peruana era clara, al igual que los temas más importantes de la cocina española. Definitivamente regresaré, algo que rara vez diría sobre este tipo de lugares.
My wife and I had a wonderful evening at Restaurante Víctor Gutierrez when visiting Salamanca on our tenth wedding anniversary. We visited on a Friday night and had the Menu Mestizo, cocktails, and an excellent bottle of red wine from the Sierra de Gredos recommended by our server. The service was knowledgeable, attentive, and discreet and the food really interesting and consistently delicious. We had a fabulous time!
Una hermosa fusión peruano-española, inspirada en Central de Lima. Víctor utiliza ingredientes de gran calidad como rocoto, ají, trufa y lúcuma para crear platos increíbles. I am a gourmet fanatic. Lucky to have eaten in most of the superior restaurants in the world. This is up there with the best I have ever had. The attention to detail wine combinatoons is superb. This is somewhere that needs to be visited. We'll done everyone
