Review from Yelp posting:-----------------------------------Victoria Sushi is one of those places that you'll see every-so often on social media since people rave about the pricing of their aburi sushi. We really had to go out of our way to come try to place as it's located in New West. Since it was going to be an official thing, we made sure to make a reservation for it; probably because we needed a table for six as well. As amateurs, we did not google this place beforehand so it was quite surprising that they were located in a residential-like area. Thankfully we carpooled so parking wasn't difficult but it's definitely very limited since it's inside a garage lot. We got seated right away...

I have heard about this small restaurant on one the SNS foodie blog and decided to try with my Japanese friends.Three of us ordered Seafood Salad, Aburi Tobiko Roll, Salmon Oshi Sushi, Shime Saba (Mackerel) Oshi Sushi, Crunchy Creamy Unagi (Eel) Roll, Mango Scallop roll and Korean Kimchi Ishiyaki rice and the bill came as $83.86 including tax. We were full when we ordered about $60 but we wanted to try their speciality rolls as much as possible this time because we don't go to New Westminister so often. Most of the speciality rolls cost $10 each, but especially Oshi Sushi, these days, I found it one of the most reasonable restaurants for these speciality rolls. Everything was so delicious but...

We gave been going here for a long time and it is getting harder to park here. The food was usually better than we had this visit as it was more greasy tasting than it was in other visits. We went early and had no issue getting a table but leaving around 6:30pm it was waiting for a table as it is a very small restaurant. I did notice people had reserved tables. The beef soba was very good and so was the deep fried California roll but the snapper was not as good as I have had previously. The service was excellent but not sure if I would return due to the parking issue, however, if I lived within walking distance I would return.

This place is getting busy for a reason. Although there are about 7 other sushi places within a few blocks, the food here is amazingly superior. (While I love the staff at my regular place, the food just can’t quite compare.)We shared a dinner for 2 with the most delicious fish. It was enough food for 3 to 4. Everyone enjoyed their meals.Ambience is fine. Nothing special, and nothing bad (although floor can get really slippery when wet). Prices are reasonable.Definitely going again. A place for foodies. I have eaten here for a couple years and am disappointed to see the hours get fewer and the prices to have gone up. The rolls are not as tasty either; spicy rolls are no longer "spicy", avocado is spotted and not fresh looking or tasting. It is a good place to go when you need a quick sushi fix, their hot dishes are okay too.Service is always quick whether sit in or take out which is a bonus.

Good spot for quick and cheap sushi! Their salmon oishi and scallop oishi are my favs. Chicken karaage and wings are not bad. We also had the bang bang salad which was alright if you like peanut sauce. Their sashimi are very fresh because of the high turnover of food.Very hard to find any parking here but this is a great place to get takeout. Good good at a great deal!

Victoria hill parking is terrible so I really don't see why anyone but residents would patronize this place. Its proximity is its saving grace. The food (I ordered aburi salmon, a house roll, a red dragon roll and an avocado roll) was fresh and good, but not outstanding. The service is sloooooow and not overly friendly.I'll go elsewhere next time.

Victoria Sushi serves some of the best Japanese cuisine in Greater Vancouver. Their food is consistently fresh and delicious, and their service is great. The best value on their menu is definitely the lunch Bento boxes, but the more expensive specialty rolls are definitely worth trying. Reserva una mesa ahora

Love to order from there when I'm in the area. Consistently good and fresh. I have always have take out, so I can't review their service.
