FOUND GREEN MOLD IN MY YEEROS - OWNER REFUSED TO REFUND! had eaten 1/4 of my yeeros when I noticed the cheese was moldy. I was discrete about it at first when I told the shop assistant, as I understand it happens and didn't want to make a scene. But the owner, Peter (older man with glasses, looks like he has a bung eye) insisted I had eaten half of the yeeros and that they could only give me a new one. I honestly only had a 1/4 of it and had lost my appetite from seeing the mold - all I wanted was my money back. Peter even used the excuse that he couldn't refund because the owner wasn't around to authorise it - but he IS the owner!!! My husband has been going there for years, and chit chatte...
We have visited Marrickville many times over recent years and driven past Victoria Yeeros always promising ourselves we would eat there one day. That day arrived on our current visit!We both love Kebabs and Shwamas so had some idea of what to expect. Both chose Lamb Years to eat in. Service was quick and efficient even if not particularly chatty. Within a few minutes we were sitting down in the quite spacious and bright cafe contemplating how to eat our Yeeros which, by our standards, were huge. But they were tasty and the meat tender. They were not cheap at $12 each but worth it.Definitely on our list for another visit when we next are in Marrickville.
Food is average and overpriced, they charge extra for just about everything and they also dont do meals so a basic yeeros with chips and drink costs around $25-$30 and not very happy about being overcharged by about $12 this time last time it was about $6 dont think i will be returning.
I had been wanting to try this place for a while so my husband and I decided to dine in. Firstly the staff were extremely rude and ignorant. Secondly the yeeros was terrible which was thoroughly disappointing especially after the bad service.

if yo pay $54 for two plates kebab with salat they would expect to get decent eating, the meat was dry and the tomato in salat must be the 50 cent per kilo the gurkens were mad we will not go back there
Don't go here to be "loved up" by the staff. Come for the excellent lamb and fresh salad. Not cheap, but the best I've had in the Inner West by a mile.
food was good but but the service was was not good they had attitude they came across they think as they know it all and also its CASH ONLY !
I used to go there and ask the staff for what they would have. Just make me the kebab you would have at home... THat never disappoints.

one of the restaurants that I will definitely visit again very warm staff impeccable service, clean shop very large portions of food
never again. worst mixes. and the two crispy clashes behind the counter are enough to scare away the bravest person
