As an Italian chef who has trained with masters in Italy, I rarely dine out for Italian food due to frequent disappointments. However, Victory exceeded all my expectations. Their world-class wine list features exceptional selections from Italy and beyond. The dishes were not only delicious but also authentically prepared and expertly executed. The Grigliato Misto was outstanding, as was Nonna's Gravy with Rigatoni and fresh ricotta. We sampled five items, and each one was remarkable. The restaurant seems nice. We made a reservation and showed up on time. .... And we were directed out of the restaurant proper into a basement “cafeteria-style” level. No windows. No music. No sound buffers (it was cacophonous), very harsh overhead lighting. We asked if we could be seated in the restaurant instead of this seeming “overflow” area and they pretended to be confused. So we left. Had a nice dinner around the corner at Erie Café.
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, especially considering the reasonable prices. The portions were generous, yet the quality remained excellent. The mussels appetizer was particularly noteworthy—definitely enough to share between two people, as they were quite large! The service was average, but nothing to complain about. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in Oak Park!

Food is great, service is an odd and rather delayed experience—-added easily 40 mins to our outing, reservations available but you still wait >10 mins with these, they’re certainly in no rush to provide service and it does feel hasty when they do (almost like you’re a bother) and they don’t come around a lot. I think this would be a good place to get TOGO from.
Danny was our server and he was great. We loved our food, couldn't finish anything as we were not super hungry but we had amazing leftovers for the next day. We've been here a few times already and will be back to try that steak!

The service as good and the dishes are huge. If you order the chicken there is so much food you can eat for a day. I recommend the meatballs and the pizza is cooked very well too. Nice atmosphere in here.

The food was pretty mid but the service was fantastic. I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant but felt that the table was tight for a group of 8.
The main issue was that one of our dishes was missing some items.
