I got off of work and had some time before my meeting at 6. I was in the area of Viet Taste. I have drove past this establishment many times and said to myself that I would stop in one day to try their pho and Banh mi sandwich. Today was the day to stop in.When I go out to a place that serves pho I try to see if they also have Bành mi sandwich. This way I can try each establishments version of the sandwich.Decor of the restaurant was nice. Open seating area and table are close together. I came across this restaurant, because I was looking for banh mi near me. This restaurant was close to me and we drove straight there at 8pm at night. They close at 9pm. They only accept cash, but have a ATM on site. You have to understand this is a small business and they offset the fees from CC companies by only accepting cash. I'm all for supporting small business! The banh mi, were so good! I have the tofu one, and it was better then I have ever had. My husband had the beef, and loved it. CASH ONLY! Wife and I got a pho and bun bo hue. Great food! Good portions. Also had the appetizer platter and they let us trade one the chicken for more spring rolls. My wife said these were the best crab Rangoon she's ever had. So why only 2 stars? CASH ONLY. There was no sign except on the cash register and nobody said anything. We didn't recognize until we already had our food. Luckily we had just enough cash to pay for it. However the ATM was also down. Idk what they expect people to do. They definitely need to either put a sign on their door or better yet accept cash!

Food was good. Subtracting one star because CASH ONLY. Our first time there, there’s no sign in front of the door about it. Only during our meal and we saw that sign by the cash register and confused and ask the cashier about it. She said there’s an ATM by the door to withdraw money if needed. If I had known it’s cash only I would have gone to my own bank in the vicinity to pull out money so I don’t have get charged a fee for the atm. But luckily I have enough cash on hand. Usually nowadays a lot of people don’t carry cash on them.

Be aware that this place is CASH ONLY. We were not aware that this place was cash only until it came time to pay the bill. They do have an ATM machine on site to use for this purpose. Otherwise the dining experience was very good and the food was delicious. The pho was very good and tasted good. We also ordered the smoothies with boba and they were good.

First time trying Pho and let me just say, it was amazing! Exceeded my expectations. I most definitely will be coming back. Only downside is they only accept cash which I never carry but good thing they have an ATM so no biggie! Ooooo and their bubble tea is to die for!!! Its so tasty and yummy!Food: 5/5

Found this place by accident after leaving O'Hare, this place checked all boxes.Quantity, quality and price. It shocked me that their noodles are fully cooked not like most who just rinsed briefly in the pot. Might be out of the way for most but it's worth the drive.

Great food, I travel over 20 minutes to get here so it's really worth it.I always order something different to expand my palette and learn. I love getting Thai iced coffee (it's deep and creamy, so good), the smoothies, pho, and banh mi.Food: 5/5

Delicious pho! The spring rolls were a great appetizer, and Thai tea with boba made a great dessert. All at a reasonable price. Be prepared with cash, a debit card, or more recently, a Zelle account!

The korean bbq beef banh mi is good and less than $6 (minus the tax). Cash only though.
