I've been a loyal customer for a long time and have always enjoyed the food here. Although I've never written a review before, I felt it was important to bring something to the attention of other customers. I placed my order over the phone and was waiting at the register for my smoothie when I glanced into the kitchen. To my shock, I saw one of the workers stretching out his jeans while pulling down his boxers and then proceeding to touch himself. I couldn't believe what I was witnessing. Another worker noticed what was happening and hurried into the kitchen to intervene and try to close the curtain. They both then came out and just stared at me. The banh mi here are fantastic! I tried the tofu banh mi, and it was the best I've ever had. My husband opted for the beef banh mi, and he loved it as well. Since then, we've returned a few times, and the pho has been incredible—generous portions packed with flavor. The food is served quickly, which is a big plus.
The smoothies with tapioca are delicious too; we've tried several flavors. And let me mention the prices—they are incredibly low and very affordable! We’re more than willing to make the drive for great food, excellent service, and wonderful prices. The staff is always friendly and attentive.
For vegetarians, I’m happy to report that they offer vegan options too!
The food was good, but I’m subtracting one star because it's cash only. It was our first time visiting, and there was no sign outside the door indicating this. It wasn't until we were eating that we noticed a sign near the cash register. When we asked the cashier about it, she mentioned there was an ATM by the entrance for withdrawals if needed. If I'd known it was cash only, I would have gone to my bank nearby to avoid the ATM fee. Fortunately, I had enough cash on me, but I know that many people don’t typically carry cash these days.
So why only 2 stars? It's because they only accept cash, and there was no indication of this except for a sign on the cash register. We didn't realize it until after we received our food. Thankfully, we had just enough cash on hand to cover the bill, but the ATM was out of service. I'm not sure what they expect customers to do in this situation. They really need to either post a sign on the door or, better yet, start accepting cards!

I chose not to accept the money, leaving it on the table separate from my tip, which I did give in addition. The restaurant only accepts cash, but fortunately, there is an ATM on-site. Our total was around xx.50, yet they rounded it up without returning the change and didn’t inform us about it either. While 50 cents isn’t a significant amount these days, I found it odd that a cash-only establishment would round up rather than down.
I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance after leaving O'Hare, and I was pleasantly surprised—it met all my criteria: quantity, quality, and price. I was amazed to find that their noodles were fully cooked, unlike many places that only give them a quick rinse in hot water. Although it might be a bit out of the way for some, it's definitely worth the drive.
Please note that this restaurant only accepts cash. We were unaware of this until it was time to settle the bill, but they do have an ATM on-site for convenience. Aside from that, the dining experience was excellent, and the food was delicious. The pho was particularly tasty, and we also enjoyed the smoothies with boba, which were great.
This is by far the worst Vietnamese restaurant in the area. They didn’t offer me any exchanges for my order. I also don’t understand why they only accept cash. If you don't have cash on hand, you’ll have to withdraw it from their ATM, which comes with an additional fee.
