I love coming here, it's been a special spot for my girlfriend and I since her grandmother used to take her there all the time when she was younger! The server was friendly and attentive, I love the view from the window (as always) seeing the water provides a great ambience that anyone could enjoy. The only unfortunate aspect of the night was one of the servers (not our main guy) spilt red wine on the table. Things happen of course, she knows especially because she works in the industry, but she didn't see what happened and didn't know if she knocked it over. I had 24 hours to find a place to host a memorial lunch for 75 people on a Saturday, after my mother passed away suddenly. We called Jesse Simon, General Manager of The View in Oakdale, because 10 years ago we had Mom’s 75th birthday celebration there. Well, Jesse made it happen. It was not easy as it was so last minute. He was a pleasure to work with, and what a memorable experience we had. The food was amazing, he was able to easily accommodate kids and vegetarians. The service was impeccable amidst the spectacular views of The Great South Bay. Our compliments to the chef, too. My entire family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts.

I had my wedding here the end of January and it was nothing short of amazing. Having been a long time patron of the restaurant, when I got engaged I knew exactly where I wanted to go. It was beautiful, everyone raved about the food, and the personal service we received was wonderful. Jimmy presented us with the perfect picture during our initial meet, and from there Jon made sure our day was fun and stress free. Jesse helped every step of the way ensuring we had everything we needed. The whole staff was professional, fun, and engaged with our guests. Everyone had a great time, we can't wait to spend many more nights dining at the View!!

We sat in main dining room which was pretty with great water views. The bar section had live music and even people playing corn hole having fun. Our entrees, cocktails and service were excellent. I always enjoy dining at the View. Never disappoints! Reserva una mesa ahora
