Vilai Divine Greek Cuisine

Here for Christmas dinner. The service was very attentive without smudging. I felt that this was the strongest point of the restaurant. Overall we were 3 adults and 2 children. We started to share the Vilai Chips, Octopus and 3 of the Dips (Eggplantat, Garlic tzaziki). They were all amazing. The ducks were less impressive between the 5 of us, we shared 2 King Prawns, salmon and shrimps Risotto. The landmark of Greek seafood is its simplicity, but our ducks were pretty dirty. All in all, this was a good experience and good enough to guarantee a return visit.

We had dinner on Saturday 8/10. This was our first time at the restaurant. We were seated right away. We had the chips and beets as appetizers. We had lamb chops, the colossal shrimp from Nigeria and chicken as entrees. Besides the chicken being a “pinch” too dry, the food was all outstanding, well made and tasty. Service was a little slow at times. Will definitely go back. Highly recommended. Definitely try this restaurant.

Great restaurant! The price fixed menu on Sundays is great. The whole branzini is delicious. The mousakas is warm and best we’ve ever had. Staff is delightful! A true gem!

Highly recommend this restaurant. Food and service were great. One of the best meals we’ve experienced on Long Island. We will definitely dine here in the future.

We enjoyed our meal at Vilai. The octopus appetizer was the hit of the evening.
