We were out for an afternoon of shopping and spotted this little restaurant on our way back to the caravan site so we decided to go in and see if we could have something to eat! On entering we actually thought the place was closed and were ready to leave when we were greeted by a lovely woman who ushered us inside and offered us menus and showed us to a table for two. The place itself was quaint and typically french very old fashioned but lovely! I had a lovely carafe of red wine but poor hubby was driving so he had a coca lite, i had lamb whilst hubby had pork both were lovely served with a house salad and a gorgeous dressing and ofcourse those gorgeous hard to resist french fries with mayo...
the location is nice, close to the fast track. but it still allows to eat on the terrace in the beautiful days. The building is pretty, with lots of charm. a menu with choice and a menu of the day that changes every day! special mention to the fries that are divine. the owner is welcoming and able to adapt, especially during the various containments where he continued to feed essential workers with take-off menus. Hat!
Honestly very disappointing pizzaFinally delicious, not at all pleasing (Pesto or 3 cheeses or others that doesn’t make you want) and especially not really good ingredients... wasn’t ironed for 10 years but the frankly pizza level can really do better if you want to have the consent of the consumer?
