Village Inn Seafood Bbq

I really don’t like seafood, but on occasion, I will eat flounder. I’ve eaten here several times throughout the years And this is so far the best place in Lumberton, North Carolina for the best fish ever. The flounder is all I can vouch for since it is the only seafood I eat, but when I ordered the salt and pepper battered flounder, It is awesome and the best ever. The food is absolutely the best and they have great service and a very peaceful atmosphere to eat. I promise you, you will not be disappointed. Thank you, Village Inn and I will be seeing you again soon, that’s a promise.

Decided to have lunch rather than wait until dinner. Had a terrific meal. Look don’t just consider their delicious seafood because they also have the best fried chicken anywhere around. My wife and I love both so we order the chicken plate and the deluxe and share between the two. Excellent hush puppies too. Just don’t fill yourself up with them and then not be able to finish the meal. Service was as always, respectful and polite and our food came out quickly. Always a pleasant experience. Totally worth trying. We try to go weekly it’s definitely my choice for best seafood in town.

My first time visiting the Village Inn, we were on a motorcycle ride out of Southport as we approached we saw lots of car’s inter parking lot. (there is plenty of parking). We walked in and were immediately seated. Which surprised me since there were 10 people. The menu is pretty simple and to the point, Seafood or BBQ with a few other things. I got the small seafood plate shrimp, flounder and oysters. No one in our group had any negative comments and liked the food. The best part of this place other than the food are the prices. I walked out tip and food was less than $20.

This is a wonderful local food joint. It was packed and everyone knew we were from out of town as soon as we walked in. The hush puppies are fantastic. They are sweet and taste like little doughnuts. I ordered the shrimp special which came with cole slaw and fries. There's a kids menu, but my child ended up loving and eating all of my shrimp. It was a great meal. Only open Thursday to Sunday. I had chopped BBQ and fried chicken. BBQ was good and fried chicken was excellent. Hush puppies were nice and hot and the slaw was very good. Highly recommended. Did not try the seafood but I hear it is excellent as well.

Been going to this restaurant since I was a little girl and it’s still good. Everyone should try this restaurant, you won’t be disappointed.

Love this place always good eats, what's the white sauce in the tube though? It doesn't taste like tartar sauce but it's awesome

It is very loud. The food was typical fried fare. The wait staff are very friendly.

In my opinion Village Lynn has the best seafood in Robeson County.
