Literally, one of the 2 best meals I've ever eaten in San Clemente. So sad we didn't try it sooner as my neighbor has been raving about Village Mediterranean for a while! The lamb Oso Bucco was better than FABULOUS!! Hubby had the Sea Bass with Crab pesto, Pear salad and Panna Cotta....also excellent. The biggest problem for me was choosing among the many delicious sounding entrees!! Guess I'll have to go back soon to try them!!!!! But seriously, skip the chains from Laguna and try this place You won't be disappointed.

This little gem has become my weekly routine. After eating at restaurants worldwide for 40 years and living in France for some time, I can attest that this is ONE OF THE BEST CHEFS IN THE WORLD. His sauces are second to none! I wish reviewers would stop focusing on service and other irrelevant?s and focus on the food. The menu is Inspiring, different and one of a kind. You will never find these gourmet dishes anywhere else. Enjoy!
I wish I had thought to take pictures, because the food here is beautiful and incredible. I can?t believe it?s not always packed. I had the Wild Mushroom and Asparagus Fettuccine and my party also had the 10 Hours Braised Boneless Short Ribs, theLamb Meat Loaf, and a special called the Beef Cheeks and they were all amazing. My party especially loved the flavor and howtender the meat was. Our server was Josi and she was great!!
