It had been a while since I met up with any of my Yelp friends in real life, so I was excited to have dinner and drinks with Mercedes C. After some discussion, we decided to go to Village Social. The name sounded familiar to me, and I had seen it on my Yelp feed before. The restaurant is located on Purchase St in Rye, and I realized they have another location in Mt. Kisco that I had passed by recently. The restaurant has a modern and comfortable interior, with a mix of dark and light colors. We sat by the window, which provided plenty of natural light. We love going to village social in Mt Kisco, so decided to explore the one in Rye expecting similar great experience. However, I have to say that I am very disappointed by the hygiene and food quality served at this place in Rye. We ordered Saigon spare rib. I was eating their coleslaw in the dish and felt weird and I found that it had NAPKINS mixed in their coleslaw. They took the plate right away so I couldn't take photos but it is the most disgusting experience I have ever had. I would never go again.
Steak sandwich could be the worst food I ever had in every restaurant. The steak was so gumy and undercooked that I couldn't finish it. The Pasta dish did not taste authentic and felt like it could? was made in a school cafeteria. The only positive were the blueberries vodka lemonade drink (very good), the thin frits and service by the waiter. The atmosphere was good. You must pay for the parking lot on one of the nearby plots.
Warm simple friendly facility, meets great attentive service and delicious food. We came to lunch: The steak sandwich had delicate, well seasoned steak, was warm and we are sorted. The burger had all the right components: warm bungalow that does not soggy, well cooked patty covered with delicious caramelized onions and aged cheese. Overall a solid 8.5/10 and this is top rating and good value for money.

Service was terrible. Brought out our main course 3 mins after apps and the waiter just stood there with our dishes without speaking. Bizarre. Then every waiter just ignored us. Asked for bread for the rest of our hummus, hummus got taken away when we told them to leave it and then bread came at the very end. Just no care in the world. Welp. Never again. Food: 3
very disappointed. order a margarita pizza. the floor was boiled over the top tasty underboiled. the sauce was blah and no special taste for the cheese. two small beer of basilikum leaves on the whole cake. never ate a caesar salad, where the salat dressing was thick and cloby.
Really good food, have never been disappointed. Burger is incredible and the Manhattan on tap is my go to drink. Also had salmon which was delicious. My partner loves the soy glazed chicken and rice. Atmosphere is lovely as well. Not open as late as we would like.
The ambiance at this restaurant is laid-back and the burgers are scrumptious. Expect to pay between $20 and $30 per person. Highly recommended dishes include the Wild Fish Tacos and Shishito Peppers.

Nice restaurant to hangout with friends and family and have a couple drinks, the foods was tasty and a lot of choices: this is one of my favorite restaurant. The setting was comfy and relax.
all our food and drinks were delicious and the service was great. food quality is high, but also prices.
