We spent three nights in Segovia so decided to go to traditional restaurants for our first and final evenings and go to somewhere fancy for the middle evening. Unfortunately, we found this the most disappointing of the three (we were very pleased with the two...traditional restaurants). They got off to a bad start by offering us a choice of a tasting menu or the reduced tasting menu. Michelin starred restaurants create high expectations. And this one definitely met them. We stayed in the Eurostars hotels, so very convenient as this restaurant is is just a door away. According to spanish habits, we were the first to arrive although already We chose...the short version of the menu with the sommelier selection of wines. Not a single dish was disappointing, so the level of the cuisine is really very high. Only part of the staff speaks English but that was managed perfectly. we had lunch here with my family and the experience was sensational. in a renovated church unites the offer of villena local aromen with fusion ingredients and a beautiful presentation for the dishes: the whole lunch was delicious and well paired with local wines...(the maridaje menu), and the salmorejo was excellent also the selection of brot and olive oil were sensational. that know and the love for detail are the price of the meal. one of our party is tomato and glucose intolerance and this was solved by contact with angelo in villena, a few days before our lunch. we also brought our six-year-old daughters with us and she got a special kinder-friendly food, from kalbstau and kartoffelkeil...

beautiful ambiente, top service and very good eating makes this place a non-miss when they visit segovia. it is not the typical tourist restaurant that they find in every corner (some good, many of them fall), but they can many of the good local...products with a beautiful presentation. it's not cheap, but every cent worth. the distance from madrid and the beauty of the city makes it a good option to round a day trip with a beautiful lunch
