My second experience with this restaurant, my first was some years ago. I don’t like giving negative reviews. First I would like to say that the waitress was extremely friendly and accommodating. Out of my two friends, I was the only one who ordered entrée dinner: fillet mignon with a port reduction sauce and green beans with slivered almonds. One of my favorites! I asked for the steak medium well. Unfortunately I got something that resembled beef jerky instead. Each restaurant has their own variation of medium well, some are slightly pink and others are not. I would not have sent it back if it wasn’t for the fact that my green beans resembled a limp noodle instead of a sautéed green beans....
I made a reservation for five through OpenTable. However, when I arrived, the waitress told me that Viva Madrid does not accept reservations made through OpenTable. I showed her my reservation confirmation, but she explained that they have been experiencing this issue for a while. It has led to significant frustration for both customers and staff, and unfortunately, it hasn't been resolved yet.
I have made reservations for 5 with opentable. When I arrived, the waitress informed me that viva madrid did not accept any reservations from opentable. I showed the waitress my reservation on opentable. she said that viva madrid has had this problem for some time that it has caused much frustration with her customers and employees, and that is not solved.
The restaurant built a small patio for dining in the street. Very cute and romantic, but it’s in the street and we can’t complain as they are doing their best to keep customers safe and business open. Food was amazing, good service, great sangria. Would definitely come back again. Small plates aren’t that small, so order as you go so you don’t over order.

Great customer service . The host was amazing his customer service was outstanding . He made sure every guest was accommodated and taken care of . I forgot the name of the gentleman but he was awesome . Our server was awesome too and recommended dishes and drinks !

Viva Madrid has been my favorite restaurant for nearly a decade. We visit frequently, and the food and service are consistently excellent!
2 hours! Yes 1 hour to take our order and another hours to bring the food!! Never again
