Best Vons Chicken location in my opinion! I've been to a few other locations before this and wasn't a fan of Vons based on the previous locations. Therefore we have been going to Bonchon for awhile and some other chicken stores to get satisfy our Korean chicken craving but nothing really ever did. One day everything was closed around the 4pm time therefore we came to the Fremont location Vons since they were open and I was blown away by how fresh and delicious the chicken was! They were not as good as I expected them to be. At first I'm like sure let me take a seat this should be a good quick eat. But when I ended up, ordering first thing they got wrong was the type of chicken I order that was not spicy and they ended up giving me something intolerably spicy. When I bit into it, I was just like damn near choking. Fine then the rest OK, I mean it was HUGE pieces of chicken with one slab of whatever flavor we ordered. This location has really gone downhill. We got 2 orders of crispy fried chicken at $16.99 each through a food delivery service. 1. Several pieces were haphazardly breaded with half-breaded drumsticks in half our order.2. Whoever was saucing the chicken was extremely stingy. It tasted like a quarter flavor compared to previous times we ordered from here. There was barely any flavor at all. 3. Chicken was overfried and tough.4. Lastly, on top of everything, their chicken was oily, suggesting cooking temperatures were too low or fryers overloaded. Between this Vons Chicken and the one in Newark, I would choose this location hands down. The chicken here is crispy yet juicy on the inside, and the amount of seasoning is just right. One great thing about this location is that on their menu, they mention that their soy garlic sauce glaze contains peanut oil; my daughter has a severe peanut allergy, so having this printed on their menu ensures that I stay away from that item for her. This location does offer dine-in, however it is a bit small, so having a large group may not be so ideal, unless maybe done outside. Overall, we were very satisfied with our order here, and we will definitely be ordering here again in the future.

Von's never lets me down. The chicken is always on point, crispy or glazed or whatever. Garlic chicken is very flavorful and the crispy with the hot sauce is perfect with some rice. I've tried most of the fried choices and those are top two for me.This location has had friendly and knowledgeable staff each time I've been in and would recommend it over anything else on Mowry Ave.If it seems pricey, it won't after you realize how much better their chicken is than some white bearded man's secret spices on some dry second-rate chicken.
Surprisingly, first time having Vons Chicken for me.The two of us ordered:-crunch fried half combo: big fan. Great crisp and good pairing with ranch-crispy yangyum half combo mild: too sweet for my taste buds. Definitely prefer the crunch over the crispy-rice cake mild: used the same sauce as the yangyum, so not the biggest fan. They also fry their rice cake, so the texture was a bit different-large korean beerWe ate inside, but they have outdoor seating as well. Staff was friendly.Easy parking in the plaza.
This location of Vons Chicken has food that's consistent and service that's efficient. I normally order online on their official website and pickup in-store. It's always packed very well and the wait time is consistent with the estimated pick-up time on the receipt. Taste-wise, I have to admit that it's not the BEST Korean fried chicken I've had but it's definitely not bad. It's just a convenient spot to go if I craved Korean fried chicken in the area.
If you're looking for perfectly crispy/crunchy fried chicken, here it is. We ordered the full crispy fried chicken wings with sauce on the side. Our order came out to $34.17. It was ready in 10-15 minutes on Sunday around 3pm. Comes with coleslaw and radish on the side. This is our new go to spot for fried chicken!

Working long hours, we don't get a chance to cook healthy foods the way we used to. We decided to order takeout from Vons Chicken. We ordered the roasted chicken . It was excellently cooked. We enjoyed it so much that we went back 2 days later. Definitely plan on eating there again.
