I visited this restaurant to order a salmon plate and three chicken bowls. Unfortunately, the salmon tasted spoiled and had an awful smell. I called to inform them about the issue—not to request a refund, but to let them know that their food was not up to standard. However, the girl on the phone told me there was nothing she could do since I wasn't returning the plate. I wasn't looking for credit, just wanted to report that the food tasted terrible. I knew about this place prior to its opening. It would have been great to have another Black owned business in the neighborhood, however, that's not the case. I would like to see a better mix of Black people being employed. I've been there twice, and both my experiences were nice, the prices are great, and the food was good. In LA, that's a great start. In LA we've experienced bad service and we continue to patronize them, I believe, if we continue to hold Storm Burger accountable, they will get it right, after all we need good fast food as well.
I placed a mobile order at this location and when I arrived to pick it up, the cashier completely ignored me. I waited for about 10 minutes, thinking my order might not be ready yet. After another 5 minutes of waiting without any acknowledgment, I finally asked again for my food. She apologized and handed me my order, which had been sitting off to the side the whole time. I will NEVER go back there again, especially since my order was also wrong. NEVER AGAIN!
The lady at the counter was so nice. There was only one person in line so we didn't wait long to order but then it got busy and there was only two people working there. One cooking and one cashier. Our order took about 15-20 minutes!! I felt bad because they cashier was taking orders and also packing the food and helping the cook. I visit this restaurant quite often, but today I had the tortilla chicken soup and was quite disappointed. The soup was lukewarm, overly thick, and not enjoyable at all. When I asked the manager if I could exchange it for something else, he refused because I had already tasted it. So, that was $7 down the drain. I understand the policy, but as a manager introducing a new dish, it would be beneficial to consider customer feedback.
The food was good, but the service left a lot to be desired. The cashier was rude and had a poor attitude. Even when I inquired about her name—since they don't wear name tags—she remained unhelpful. Her name is Fabiola. The restaurant itself was quite dirty; the trash bins were overflowing. If I could give this restaurant a half star, I definitely would!
i ordered a side salad and a piece of an actual root of some kind was inside, it was MUDDY and wet!! it was super nasty to stay the least. didn?t go back to the restaurant to say something bc they are rude and always in a hurry and i didn?t want anothersalad. waba doesn?t properly sanitize their food!! I really like waba grill but I?ll skip this location now. Orders are incomplete, not the most freidnly staff.
