Waffenschmiede - Reserva de mesa

We were there today. Location seemed nice. But the food was horrible and bad service . I asked for separate sauce because I don't like my fish DROWNING in sauce. She said it was cooked with sauce. Plate arrived. CLEARLY the sauce could have been served separate. The sauce was disgusting, it Ruined the whole fish!!! The side salad looked like poor man's food.when we wanted to tell the waitress our opinion she didn't even let us finish our comment. She started being very defensive showing us the menu saying we should have asked for an (paid ) upgrade of the salad . The salad was only some leafy greens with lots of sauce. Best part of the visit. My : cola lightDO NOT VISIT

the carving of a white art came with a (probably) cream sauce under the carving. when we pointed out that the person that was not able was asked several times what exactly was not. after a statement the carving was taken back and no 5 minutes later came back, you simply changed the teller and dressed without sosty. we would have known that a normal carving like a kind of sose it is we would not have ordered it. the pommes also came out of no longer so good fat (so that you could taste it and see it) unfortunately no good experience/impact.

Had a very nice meal at Waffenschmiede during a recent trip to Bad Durkheim. It was cold and raining but the restaurant was warm and friendly and nearly full on a Thursday night. It appeared to be mostly locals. The food was typical German fare but prepared well and very tasty. They had some nice local wines as well. The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Recommend this restaurant as a comfortable place with good food, good wine and good staff. Will be back.
