Wahlburgers Hy-vee

My husband and I decided to get burgers on a Tuesday, there didn't seem to be many people on the restaurant, we could tell that only 2 waitress were working and 2 people in the kitchen as well. We thought nothing about it. We ordered a burger each, and as time went on we noticed how late it was getting on our food wasn't out yet. Took 40 minutes to get 2 burgers and fries out. When we made a comment about the wait time to the waitress she kinda smiled and walked away. Kind of a weird set up. You order at a counter outside of the restaurant in the Hyvee grocery store, then get a place to sit. Luckily there was plenty of seating. The counter to order was a little busy and unorganized. Friendly staff member took order. It took an hr to get hour meal! The restaurant wasn't full maybe about 70-75% full. The wait staff was unorganized and seemingly didn't have an idea who was responsible for what table. We ordered the endless wings, which were good and prepared correctly. The second order (endless wings) also took an hour to receive. All in all the food was good, the staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. BUT it took 2.5 hrs beginning to end of our me...

The meat itself in the bun was delicious , but all the other slop on it was wayyyy too greasy. The fried onions are very good, but very quickly become too much, once again, because of the soooo much grease.... Mark I know it's not you, this is a franchise, and why should you care, your name and your brothers name is making money...I will notbeat here again, but then again, I'm sure the franchise owners don't rely on repeat customers...the name is enough for one time buyers ......the place was pretty much empty when we went in...

I am in a town somewhere outside detroit lakes? I try to eat healthy in a restaurant in the middle west, always a fraught order, but it takes an exceptionally senseless ball of shredded iceberg to just not disturb me with the salat I paid for the charge for. but hey, the house made avocado spread (they think guacamol without a garlic or swirling or cilantro, so...mashed avocado) was not offensive. I had even worse meal times, but also for the suburbs was the aggressive.

This is a decent store. If you’re looking for fresh bakery items like Hawaiian buns, I’d avoid this particular location.
