Our first visit since the 'Revamp to the store. Visited on a Saturday 5th March at about 1-0pm. The store was very quiet apart from the shelf restocking trolleys with hard wheel over a hard tiled floor sounding like Sherman Tanks. The café looks nothing like the photos on Trip Advisor. Different tables and chairs. Very difficult to see what was on the menu as the menu is on a screen which refreshed slowly and the listed food available changes. Had to ask for a bacon sandwich. The menu located on the back wall is not fixed, making it difficult to see all the offerings at first glance, especially for those who wear glasses. It can be challenging to get a clear idea of the menu during a visit, aside from the evident scones, cakes, and sweet pastries near the entrance. The service is slow, but the staff is attentive and pleasant, standing out from other supermarket cafés. Unfortunately, a queue quickly forms, causing irritation. The seating varies in comfort, with some seats being uncomfortable while others are fairly reasonable, an improvement from the previous café. I ordered the Korean Burger without lettuce, but when I picked up my order, it was filled with lettuce. I was told I could either have a dry chicken sandwich or keep the lettuce. If I had known beforehand that it couldn't be made without lettuce, I would have chosen something else. The chicken was also burnt. Every time I visit this restaurant, my order is always wrong and there is poor communication with the kitchen. The food quality is low and the prices are extremely high, as expected from a Waitrose restaurant.
We decided to have lunch and arrived at 1.15 on 27th September. We both decided to have a burger. Not possible because they had run out; run out at lunch time !!! This is not good enough! If they want to keep their customers happy they need to be far better organised. They have a shop full of burgers, why not take some from the shop floor. Their menu is not large and should be easy to manage. Not impressed.

We have shopped at this store every week since it opened and have always loved it. For some reason, they redesigned the store, so now it is confusing, clostrofobic and depressing. We just don't go there anymore. It's such a shame.
Much improved store shame about the cafe, not a single item for plant based eater who does not like soup. Why take the baked potatoes off the menu for adults and only make them children’s portions ! Please fix this
Always good quality and value for my shopping, especially at the time items are reduced ! Staff are very helpful. Great to be able to get a yummy coffee after buying all my food etc Thanks
Tired of receiving cold hot drinks and stale cake at this restaurant. The service is lacking, even when the restaurant is not busy. The tables are often left unclean.

Very disappointed grandchild as no dairy free snacks cakes or crisps available. Was allowed to go into store snd pick something but then couldn’t pay for it at cafe
