We have only had great experiences with the service, the value of money and the delicious food of the stone box. This year in July we celebrated our Abiball with nearly 300 guests and decided to host the stone box. The auditions were always top organized and at eye level, which is not always used as an 18-year-old student. The food was delicious and also the orga and payment after the celebration were uncomplicated and pleasant. Das Restaurant Zur Steinkiste ist ein Besuch wert. Das Restaurant, gefuehrt in der 3.Generation! bezaubert alle Sinne. Die Speisekarte bietet regionale kulunarische Gerichte und die frischesten Wild spezialitaeten. Harry Luhmann ist besonders darauf bedacht das alle gerichte frisch und der Jahreszeit entsprechent, unseren Gaumen treffen. Eine gute weinliste und reserve weinkeller rundet das angebot ab. Es ist immer wieder ein Super-Tolles Erlebnis bro Harry und seinem freundlichem team zu speisen.

Waldrestaurant Zur Steinkiste is located in Soest, just 1km south of the Autobahn 44. The restaurant is not easy to find. Zur Steinkiste furniture is old-fashioned and the ambiance antiquated.We came on a Monday evening was the establishment empty, not a good sign. With few restaurants near by we decided Zur Steinkiste a try. What a deception. The Kalbschnitzel was copious and mediocre. The asparagus with a mix of vinegar & sugar appeared uneatable. Service is adequate.

Wir waren zum 1. Mal in der Steinkiste. Ambiente gemütlich wenn auch für meinen Geschmack ne Spur zu rustikal. Aus dem wunderschönen Gebäude und dem dem Aussenbereich könnte man mehr machen. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Allerdings fiel uns teilweise mangelnde Hygiene auf. Brotkorb und Gabel mit Ranz, Fensterbänke voller Staub und klebrige Theke. Lekker en gezellig tafelen in een oude boerderij middenin het groen. Voldoende keuze en mooie diversiteit van gerechten en dit voor een zeer correcte prijs.Een absolute aanbeveling zijn de zeer goede vleesgerechten, filet is ook echt filet geweldige kwaliteit. Zeer vriendelijke bediening.

We were there for the first time on Saturday. Nice style, very nice staff and the food, just great. We will definitely recommend this and even ourselves will come by. I happened to stumble over the restaurant on the net that morning. And it's not even far away from us. g

Every time we are there, the food is very good, the prices moderate. However, the service could be improved a little. Kindly yes, but you realize that there is no real allocation of tables. The food is really great. It's recommended that we have time to eat.

Very nice rustic restaurant located on the forest. Great outdoor area, designed with great love. The food tastes great, servings are plentiful and friendly staff. My mops felt very comfortable.
