Waldstübchen - Reserva de mesa

Rather by chance, looking for a restaurant in the south of Berlin, we reached the Waldstübchen in Mahlow, south of Berlin. The externally inconspicuous, barrack-like construction became a small pearl of gastronomy. The cosy guest room, furnished with attention to detail, opened to a terrace where a small beer garden joined. The owners, very friendly and sympathetic, run their restaurant in the Bavarian ambience. Drinks and food are mostly Bavarian origins. A look into the menu shows quite moderate prices. We've ordered Corona-Seidank in the ToGo forest plot today. Premiere. The choice fell on breadboard and the small carving with asparagus. We are now up to date in a time when we have now become accustomed to the look of the ToGo food, which has been presented to previous (very nice) restaurant times on the plate, as well as the portion sizes shrunk due to the packaging. Today, however, the forest puppy was very surprised and showed us how it is. Super nicely arranged plates, food even after 15 minutes drive home still hot and super delicious. We really had nothing to complain about. Not even at the supplemental salad. We are also happy to visit the forest to eat there

I was there for dinner two more times. Once Schnitzel with potato salad was fine. However, the potato salad is very fade. Next time liver cheese with roast potatoes. Liver cheese extremely salty, roast potatoes looked good crispy but like potato puree, possibly from the microwave. I told the boss Mr. Peter my disappointment. He just said that didn't interest him. That's why I'm disappointed and give the restaurant a chance next year. Hopefully it still exists.

Very charming piece in which the host couple provides a pleasant-familiary atmosphere around the treses. Also as the goal of a small bike trip, the forest amusement seems to me ideal. This time I was only there on two Bavarian beers. The food portions that were carried past me looked very tasty. We moved to Berlin a few years ago and were long looking for a family-friendly gastronomy where young and old, professor and employees or beer and wine drinkers like to come together. In Waldblick we found that. We like to eat original Bavarian food, be it a beer or liver cheese, but also a classic carving in many variations.

When you come in there, it's always like a piece coming home. Very comfortable and very nice operator. You can sit in the garden or rain in the small guest room.
