I really enjoyed dining at The Whistle Stop with my daughter Aimee and my grandbabies, Owen, Joseph, and Eva Rose Mangan. We always loved the owners of the restaurant. The food was delicious, especially the special of the day. My grandbabies loved watching the train go by! It has been about 1 1/2 years since I last visited The Whistle Stop. Aimee and Owen were regulars there. I will cherish the memories of dining at The Whistle Stop. I will miss the lovely ladies who run it! I had a really great experience at this outdoor café. They hosted a nursery school end of year lunch and could NOT have been more adorable! The owners took our order in advance via email and when we arrived with 14 four year olds, they were all ready for us! The meals were reasonably priced and came with ice cream and a whistle!They also had meals for moms, and were able to accommodate my request for no cheese. The employees here treated the class like gold. Highly recommend!!!
This family-owned restaurant is a great spot for families. My son enjoyed some ice cream while I indulged in a delicious blueberry muffin and coffee. The outdoor decorations are beautiful, especially the winter displays that are perfect for kids. Overall, a very sweet experience!
This is my sons absolute favorite place! He’s autistic and loves loves ice cream so if he ever has a crummy day this is the place to take him. He loves to see the train displays. The owner Tami is so nice and understanding of my son! We love the whistle stop!

This restaurant is a quaint little ice cream shop where you can also grab a ready-made dinner. The decor is charming with a holiday theme that both children and adults will appreciate.
Food is good and a great stop for kids Grandkids make me go out of the way for the outside play area. Great chicken strips and hotdogs.
The ice cream is delicious and the location is comfortable for enjoying a tasty meal. They have a lovely outdoor seating area as well!
Excellent ice cream. One of a kind ice cream shop. The small children will love the train setup outside.

The toy train setup and close proximity to the train station are fantastic and exciting for children!
