Wally's Desert Turtle

A charming venue with excellent service and food. Great background music too. My only critique would be the oysters. Not as good as I would have hoped. My husband had the liver and caramelized onions and raved about them. I had the veal chop and it and all accompanying dishes were perfect. The Grand Mariner souffle was perfect.

we love wallys. last night was their last open night of the season, so they were from some items on their menu. We understand, but quite honestly, we feel as fulltimer from the restaurants that close in the summer months, somewhat unconsidered...for both pre-release breaks and the closure itself.

the average prices were very high, while eating was only moderate. the staff was rushed throughout the service. while the dining room is elegant, I would prefer to dinnate it at john henry in palm springs, where the meal prices are moderate and eat well over wally’s.

a bit over does not quite evaluate the expectations. the food was well prepared, but the portions were small. well done, but very standard measurement. service was slow and not particularly friendly, but also not unfriendly.

always an excellent choice for good eating. the menu is great as eating. our server and service were excellent. this restaurant also had a cozy and friendly atmosphere.
