Went this evening for a meal with my family and newborn baby. When seated we were told due to health and safety policies the pram could not go on the end of the table and had to go behind this made it very difficult to see the baby as he was tucked away) The toilets to change the baby were disgusting and dirty. The changing mat had dirty tissues and rubbish thrown on it with the floor covered in rubbish and dirt. Luckily I had cleaning wipes and my own changing mat as this was unacceptable to change a baby on. After this the food was brought out the fish was rubbery and cold as if it had been sat there all day, this is not what you expect for an £80 bill for 4 one course meals and 4 drinks....
Lovely, comfy cozy pub with a delicious menu! I love that although it 's a 'Beef ' place (it 's in the name Beefeater! it has a menu that suits both carnivores and vegetarians. I also love that there is free parking right next to it, which was perfect for my Grandma who cannot walk very far and we needed something easily accessible with little walking. I came here to celebrate my 25th birthday with my family and a few friends and we had such a wonderful time. The food was delicious, the service was impecable. We were welcomed with kindness and our server (Jackie , was so sweet and attentive to our needs. Including storing my cake helping us light it. The Baileys latte is a must try for desse...
I recently dined at this restaurant and the service was terrible. We waited over 5 minutes to even be greeted and seated, despite there being two staff members present. Eventually, they said they would prepare a table for us, without saying hello or showing any manners. It took another 20 minutes for our order to be taken by a rude woman with a bad attitude. The food took about 20 minutes to arrive and the portions were small but decent. After finishing our meal, we waited for 30 minutes for our plates to be cleared and to see the dessert menu, but the staff kept walking past us without acknowledging our request. In the end, we had to get up and pay without even being offered the dessert men...
The dinner was not enjoyable. The vegetables were very hard and the profiteroles were overly sweet. We had to wait 10 minutes for a drink, and the bartender seemed disorganized, taking too long to serve us. It was frustrating to see him not paying attention and just staring off into space. We are glad we didn't book a Christmas dinner here, and we would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Lovely greeting when we walked through the door, however it went down from there! We received our drinks quickly but , even though there were hardly any people in the restaurant it to 20 minutes of waiting to have our order taken! We then waited nearly one hour for our food to arrive and that was after asking several times. When the food arrived it was lovely and our child meal excellent value
The food at this restaurant is fantastic. The chicken goujons starter, fish and chips, and apple tart with custard were all delicious. The kids menu had a good variety of options and generous portions. The service from Jackie was excellent, she was very friendly and welcoming. The set menu deal was a great value. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
The service was excellent. Quick and efficient. However, the menu choices were very poor and the quality of the food was not very good at all. At an average of £18 per adult for a main meal, we'd have had a tastier and more filling meal from McDonalds for half the price. Disappointing from a previous family favourite.
Children’s meal excellent value at £6.99 and good quality. Nice quality Rib meal for Adult. Faultless and above and beyond service from JACKIE. Total star. Helping us with the touches you need with small children. Thank you

Tried to purchase a second drink, but he was more concerned with dealing with group that didn't know what they were having. Never mind at least we saved £9.50!!.
Great service as always. Jackie was extremely helpful and provided a great service! The restaurant was very busy but still the same awesome service
