We visited last weekend. Got lucky because there was a huge street fair. Mt Dora it’s definitively a small town I would like to return to.We sat outside, since we were traveling with a dog.We ordered for apps. Crab buns and the crab Rangoon mozzarella sticks, seaweed salad. The buns were ok but the mozzarella sticks were very good and would definitely recommend them to anyone going.We then ordered a taco, a speciality rainbow Crunchwrap , and a Dynamite roll. I found the fish fresh and it was definitely fun to eat. But it needs sauce, may it be soy, spicy mayo , or eel. So found that it’s just sushi.But for the novelty it is a place I would recommend. I had a great experience at this restaurant with the Spicy Kraken Roll, Florida Roll, Krab Rangoon Sticks, and Pork Belly Bao. The Florida roll was fresh and the asparagus added a nice touch. The Krab Rangoon Sticks were surprisingly large and filled with a good amount of filling, staying crispy even on the journey home. The Pork Belly Bao had a bit of spice but was delicious with a soft, fluffy bun. The Spicy Kraken Roll was perfect as always with baked octopus on top. Overall, a delicious meal with some unique and tasty offerings.
Food was good, especially the mozzarella sticks. Service was great. While eating our meal we were disappointed to be graced by the sounds a manager yelling at her team over white sauce. Apparently there was not enough squeeze bottles to cover all of the tables and a few to go cups of sauce being given to customers. Apparently her not wanting to fill more containers was more important than her guest satisfaction. The wait staff was amazing.Ps to the manager it’s a curtain not a wall.
We had to check this place out after seeing the Sushi crunchwrap online. I have to say it was worth the drive. So delicious! The crunchwrap was 27$ and can easily feed 2 hungry people. I could only eat half. We also got the burger for 22$ and it was also very good. The Beo buns at 4.50$ each were amazing and I would have been happy ordering just those. Bee my honey drink made with sake was refreshing and delicious. Wish this place was closer, I will be back.

drive 3 and half an hour to try wave. what an amazing experience for 3 watches on Saturday. we sat right away and ordered the Bao-beans (each a taste,) eier roles and the well sushi burrito. everything has burst with taste! the half of the burritos was the size of my hand! we have our food within 10 minutes and we have our controls done 2 min after eating! faster and friendly service from austin! they definitely recommend this place when they go through!
Saw the sushi crunch wrap online so had to come try it. I have to say it was worth the drive. So delicious, big enough for 2 hungry people. My husband got the sushi burger which was also very good. We split a Bao bun and I could have ordered just those and been very happy. Also tried the Bee my honey sake drink, it was so good! This place didn't disappoint. Will be back.
I’ve been wanting to check out this spot for quite some now . So glad that I did. The sushi was amazing. My Waitress Stacia was so sweet gave me some great recommendations. If you’re ever in Mt. Dora you have to stop by Wave. You won’t regret it!
Great food and great service. Chef was very creative and everything was very fresh. Service was very friendly and the waitress suggestions were amazing. The prices are a little high . Overall good experience

I have to say, this is truly the top sushi restaurant in town! I absolutely adore the krab Rangoon sticks and sushi taco (make sure to ask for flaming hot Cheetos!). I highly recommend this place.
with only 75 minutes to lunch, they were very attentive to our schedule.
