We loved it. We ordered tonight for supper. Used Grubhub to order online, which shows you the standard menu. Within five minutes, the lady from We Got Soul called to let me know they were out of a couple of items we had ordered. We substituted those items, she thanked me and after that waited about 35 minutes before Grubhub texted my phone to say the order was ready for pickup. Easy and painless to order, and the food is delicious. We got chicken tenders, meatloaf, mac cheese (OH MY LORD that is the BEST), garlic mashed potatoes (made w/real potatoes) and fresh black eyed peas. Every time I visit this restaurant, everything is excellent. I used to stick to ordering just chicken because I was worried about wasting my money, but I don’t have to worry about that here. I’ve started trying different dishes, and my friends and I often share our meals. Everything is truly delicious. I usually get lemonade, but I wish they would start serving red Kool-Aid. Maybe it’s just because I’m from Detroit, where that’s the best drink to have with a meal, alongside Pepsi or water!
I came in this evening and got chicken and meatloaf. Usually breasts are dry under the skin, but the cook did a wonderful job keeping the meat moist. I 've been going to The Beautiful in SW ATL since I was a child, and I rarely compare other 'soul food ' spots to them. Ya 'll have earned a spot on my list of places to go now. We had a wonderfully delicious reunion lunch at We Got Soul! Everything was so tasty (Turkey Wings, Salisbury Steak, Baked Chicken, Liver and Onions, Fried Catfish—and most of the sides offered)! The owner Cola was great and her entire staff was so professional and accommodating! We’ll be back!

The service was outstanding and the food was fantastic. The staff and the atmosphere are warm and friendly. There's an impressive variety of dishes to choose from. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys authentic Southern-style home cooking.
I had the smothered porkchops with rice, mac and cheese and collard greens and it was so good. Mac and cheese was so cheesy it melted in my mouth and my girl Cola put her foot in those greens. I will be back next time I'm in town.
Everything I have tried so far i have LOVED!!! The cobbler must be wonderful cause it's always sold out.. But that's ok best red velvet cake I have ever had. Got the banana pudding this time AMAZING!!! Thank god y'all deliver..
If you have not tried we got soul you are out of your mind! The food is amazing, the staff is friendly and it is a successful local business!! It will be no time before this business is 3 times the size it is now!

My friends and I visited We Got Soul today after church, and it was absolutely delicious! Without a doubt, the best soul food I've ever had!
