I have been twice at this nice location. Coming from Italy - the wine land - I was pretty skeptical about other countries wine, but here it is the good surprise! What a nice Chardonnay, perfect in a hot end-of-spring day and even more perfect with the beginning of summer. Really good courses, I've got amazed by the lamb sausages. Location is really cute and cozy, very nice tables outside by the square with a direct view on this little pretty town. The waitresses were kind and smiling. A suggested stop if you pass by Groß-Umstadt !

had diner on the outside terrace, which is a nice place to sit. the tables and chairs are simple, but do the work the menu is not very large and mainly contains German dishes carving late service is friendly and...corrective the prices are low, but the food quality is good, so if they want a “simple” and delicious diner, this is a good place to go.

This is a typical local German restaurant in decor and food. If you want to experience "Gemütlichkeit" this is the place to go. The food is regional and seasonal and well prepared. The service is very friendly and if you are lucky the hostess will even play some songs on the piano (Christmas carols when we were visiting).

If you want to try something typical from the area come here. Soup with liver meat balls for example. Service is also done in the typical efficient manner without being overly friendly.Try a very dry glass of white with your meal.I entertained a customer from abroad here and he seemed to like the local flair.

We had been there for a quick business lunch. Though they had limited vegetarian menu, they quickly made asparagus tasty soup, german bread & french fries for me. My colleagues enjoye local river fish sanders

Eat was good, boss was nice, 4/5 because of the hired, who was shy, but overall was good. we took 3 different menus and were all satisfied to recommend

Had a great meal here. Would definitely go back next time I'm in Gross umstadt. I had a medium rare steak, which was fantastic!

To me as a foreigner this is what I liked and expected for German food. Very good.
