Weingut Maitz - Reserva de mesa

Our waiter suggested we try the chicken cordon bleu. We did! I would now recommend this as a MUST EAT while visiting Styria! It was simply amazing! We loved it and have talked about it so many times since we have eaten it. In addition,...the wines were excellent! We tasted a number of them and all were very good. Our waiter had an excellent understanding of wines and we learned something from his explanations. All the food and wine we had we’re excellent- as was the service as well as the ambience. Maitz is great!

after a few hours of hiking and a long drive from western Kärnten our hosts in a nearby hotel reserved a table at Maitz for dinner, for our international group of friends. We have been hungry, and tired, and dressed for hiking not really...suitable for this surprisingly modern and refined restaurant; newertheless the staff was very friendly to us, and helped to decide about the food and wine. Fried chicken (half per person has been delicious as well as filling, and really liked the local Moscatell.

The setting …..overlooking the vines of the Weinstraße, high up… The food….variety of many dishes for all tastes….esquisite…. (Especially the fillet) The wine….this is a Weingut, so nothing to add except enjoy The service….mega friendly. Informative with the wine.. The price…very fair THe drawback….it’s full...(reserve) or closed on Sunday and Monday…

The restaurant is very well located, overlooking the hills full of vineyards. It has a very beautiful terrace. The food was very good, excellent serving and good wine. It's a restaurant where it's worth eating lunch and dinner. I recommend this place Reserva una mesa ahora

Perfect get-away in the heart of South Styria. The views are magnificent, the food and wine are excellent, and the rooms are modern and clean. Highly recommended from a very "picky" reviewer.

Loved this place nestling in the Styrian countryside... it's lovely! Great food, wine and the staff were very hospitable! Bedroom was very comfortable ...perfect!
