Weinhaus Weinmuehle

We've dined at Weinhaus Weinmühle twice and both have been very pleasant experiences. Their menu changes with the season and we were fortunate to have visited during their Winter and Spring menus. The Spring menu right now, is exceptional. The Crostini mit Spargel und Erbsencreme is a great starter celebrating the delicate and delicious asparagus. If you miss having fish in pork-heavy Germany, the Steinbuttfilet auf Bärlauchrisotto dazu confierte Tomaten Safranschaum (Turbot with wild garlic risotto with confit tomates and creamy saffron sauce) is fantastic, as is the Ganzes Fellchen aus dem Laacher See mit Rahmspinat und Butterkartoffeln (a whole fish grilled and served with creamy spinach and butter potatoes). The diner next to our table thoroughly enjoyed her Perlhuhnbrust mit Frühlingsgemüse und Tagliatelle (Guinea fowl breast with spring vegetables and pasta). The food is refined and elegant; the setting is beautiful, with warm gentle lights, and the old wooden beams and stone walls create a wonderful atmosphere.

A really beautiful and picturesque atmosphere in a very old and well renovated building. Really nice and delicious food with a very good selection of wines and other drinks.

We stopped here at the end of a big hike. The food was delicious, the portions are quite large and the waiting staff is very friendly. Come back.

Excellent meal and very good and friendly service. We enjoyed a great Christmas dinner and a fine local wine.

Beautiful location and very good food, for example, the fried duck, but slow service (count 2 hours)
