It's difficult to evaluate. The Gaststube has really come into the years, but has something original. Mr. Fridrich himself personally takes care of his guests. The menu is very old, the menu is handwritten. The newspaper articles in the very clear menu are from 2005. The corridor to the toilets/smoking area is unfortunately full. The toilets have the charm of the 70's, but are very clean as well as everything else. No dust particles on the lamps or something... The food and the drinks were tasty and good price. You fluctuate so a bit between everything must stay this way and make a little more modern when you want to attract guests. But the owner must know that. Little secret tip, I'd say...
The Weinstube Fridrich in Bad Dürkheim is a place full of surprises: we have eaten very tasty in the original Palatinate wine bar. Both traditional Palatinate specialties as well as innovative creations with linguins and algae landed on our plates and have tasted together with the delicious Rapunzelsalat excellent. Mr. Fridrich, the head of the house, is a real personality with style and character, he made sure that we felt very comfortable in his house and enjoyed the evening in full. P.s.: The self-adjusted herbal brandy is highly recommended! We like to come back...
It was in the wine room today. If there were 10 stars, I would forgive them. Super quality of food. It tasted very good. It's still craftsmanship. Very many wines to choose from. The owner pays attention to quality. The ambience is rustic, as it belongs to a wine room. The place is a little remote. Don't let it and the surroundings stop you. The service was very nice. All very family. You are perceived as a guest, as a human being. There's nothing like that anymore. Well, good appetite.

A host with passion that gives this place a special flair. There has been some time left. The Weinstube is original in the most positive sense of the word. No Kitsch, as you often see him, but tasteful pictures on the walls. The facility is stylish and invites you to stay. Last but not least: the food tastes here and there is a variety of wines from different cooperatives and winemakers.
For the crowning conclusion of this probably last beautiful weather on Sunday we chose this restaurant for dinner. So really fantastic greeting of augusting ambience so real comfortable atmosphere. Everything was to our best satisfaction. Really delicious. Great menu and human prices. It wasn't our last visit. Thanks for the friendly hospitality.

we have become masters of this tiny small restaurant in a narrow side street in the village of bad dürkheim. eating is absolutely fresh and delicious. in autumn they try the 'Böhmisch knödel' with mushrooms picked by the restaurant owner.

The time has stopped and is almost going backwards. You get a good Palatinate cuisine served until it was served, but it can take some time to all be supplied. An authentic rustic patrimonial ambience, in which you are kindly served.
No gourmet cuisine but grounded Palatinate cuisine. Manch one should feel reminiscent of the Sunday dinner at Grandma. Mr. Friedrich is a very lovable host and makes this very good with his 93 years.
