contempt: this local is often confused with seeger’s weinstube. most of the there TA reviews actually refer to the jägerlust! the names are confusing and even the local (I)! can easily get confused. so, while booking, make sure that the weingut seeger has his wine room on the rohrbacher road, and it is called jägerlust! but now: if a restaurant has been able to present a bip gourmand michelin since year and day, it naturally awakes high expectations. after my third visit, I can say that these are not fully fulfilled. the card is short, but without a cut (carving, frikadellen, rumpsteak etc). all this tastes not bad, but also not better or more original than you could have prepared yourself a...

Real tasty local German food with great wines. This restaurant is only open 4 evenings of the week (Tuesday-Friday). It is also closed during holidays, like Christmas and Easter). Although Germany is known for white wines, Seeger's red wines are my favorite. If you want to have a real homemade German food, this is the place. Maultaschen, Frikadellen, Schweineschnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln are my favourites. They have a very cosy restaurant, decorated in a rustic style. Always have nice fresh flowers depending on the season. You have to reserve beforehand. There is one table in the middle (Stammtisch) you may be able to get a seat without a reservation, if you are lucky. However, you will be en...

who writes here, it would be a "simple weinstube, no more." he really doesn't know himself with good kitchen. I've been here several times and I've never been disappointed. here is cooked with love and you can see that. I had a calf cream roast with homemade late zle and salate. the preparation and the quality was overwhelming. good quality and good craft has its price, but here everything is worth it and not overpriced. the weeping of souls are of outstanding quality. my favorites are anna and naan a better grounded and honest kitchen you can't find far and wide. we are looking forward to the next visit.

The house, the food and the owners and staff....as it should be! Down to earth, super friendly, lovely garden but also the old interior is well worth it. Food is great. No trendy nonsens, just good traditional German food with a modern, lighter twist. Wines from own grapes are superb! Very well worth the money and the visit!
