I have been here a few times. As far as neighborhood pubs go I think this is a great local. Excellent choice of beers on tap and craft choices are good.
The food here is very good quality with well cooked steaks (sauces could be better).
The schnitzel is not Greasy with good side salad although I was given mash instead of chips as stated on the menu. The fish and chips is decent with very fresh fish which was flaky and perfectly cooked.
The service can be hit and miss. Food is ordered at the bar and the Bartenders can range from friendly enough to bring short when it's busy.
On a game night we waited an he for food so I won't be going back when it's that busy.
The games are big draw card...
Did not feel like cooking dinner so went to The Entertainment Book looking for a place to eat prior to visiting some friends for coffee.
The Wellington was our choice as it has a wide selection of meals and we were not really sure what we wanted. I ended selecting a chicken curry (photo attached), nothing exciting but a good solid meal that was very satisfying.
There is also an extensive range of beers on tap, shame I rarely drink beer.
Overall the staff were pleasant, the food good, the decor appealing and extremely well priced either the discount. Well worth a return visit.
A group of friends catching up for dinner on a cold, wet Saturday night at the Wellington North Adelaide. Make sure you book as it's busy but with a cozy wood combustion fire, great staff, very good service it was the perfect venue to be.Mandy looked after us and she was fantastic!Meals took some time to come out but it was a very busy night. Three out of four meals were great. The Wellie Burger was disappointing as it used to be one of the signature pub meals.Parking was easy and we will go back soon.
mains are average, the entrees are great . but service is poor. Ordered a beef schnitzel , it suppose to come with a choice of sauce regardless. and when the waitress bring the dish out without the sauce. when we kindly ask for the it; she quickly argue with us that there was no order on the docket. anyway they messed up another order and yet no one could confirm exactly what happen and trying to charge us extra for whatever that we said it has been missing on the plate.

Had a chicken parmigiana. First no-no was it had the chicken atop the chips. Second no-no it had ham. Third no-no it had TOMATO PASTE, not neapolitana sauce
Salad was boring, no cuey, no tomato, no olives, just lettuce and 50c piece sized slices of red onion.
Never again!
Also the ends of the schnitzel were burnt!
On a tuesday night I would have expected better!
Having been to Spain and eaten paella expectations are always too high but seriously paella is best with a crusty bottom this was not like rissoto with squid that was rubbery and chorizo that was undercooked.If you put these items on menu learn how to cook them-
Went with a group of 5. Everyone loved their food, and had a bit of everything. My steak was top notch, and my wife loved the "Chicken 65". Lots of beers on tap, a good wine list and staff were extremely efficient and friendly. We will definitely be back.
Solid pub. Food is neither extraordinary or ordinary. Staff are relaxed but that's pleasant. Great value for money in tap beers and an excellent range. Good place to relax, so happy to hang out in a pub that doesn't refer to itself as a "Gastro Pub".

Horrible pulled pork burger, tasteless, the meat could have been boiled and put into the bun straight away. Old flappy coleslaw, blend whitish sauce. Soggy bun, chips average. Not coming back.
