Yes, it's definitely "fast food," but this place has such a charming and nostalgic vibe that calling it a "diner" feels just right. Sure, you'll find the usual burgers, fries, cola, and other quick bites... BUT it’s all served in a delightful atmosphere reminiscent of the 70s, where the owners have truly put in the effort to give the place its own unique character. Even though it’s fast food, you won't want to rush out of here if you appreciate the spirit of old-school America. You'll find yourself wanting to linger a little longer over your Coca-Cola or perhaps order an extra cup of coffee or some ice cream, lost in your thoughts.
First time eating inside and from the moment we stepped in, Gabby made us feel welcomed. I was amazed that as soon as I ordered my food (I hadn't even gotten my change yet! my order was ready!! Great food and very inexpensive. 3 meals, $20. I'd be spending at least another $15 at the golden arches had I ordered there, what I got here. Anyway, after we finished, I realized we forgot to order our free frosty. Gabby was awesome and gave them to me. This was deff a great experience, and we'll be coming back to this Wendy's soon!
The South Gate Wendy's location is probably one of the best compared to 15 other locations I've encountered. Best in food quality, service, speed, cleanliness, and prices (yes, prices vary based on location). Located in a strip mall on the extremely busy corner intersection of Garfield and Firestone, this Wendy's has plenty of parking. The food is always freshly made and items are always hot in temperature and the fries are always perfectly salted and crispy!
Wendy’s always tastes fresh, places like McDonald’s, Burger King, etc, don’t have a chance against their food. It’s more on the pricey side. Like the baconator combo costs more than an in n out combo which is crazy but honestly it’s worth it so whatever. The staff got the order wrong the first time but honestly they were very nice about it, and the place is really nice and clean.

The Wendy's is the most recent addition to the South Gate El Paseo shopping center. I'm a big fan of Wendy's frosty and I frequent the movie theater on this premise. I'm glad I can drive-through the Wendy's to pick up a frosty after having watched a movie. Definitely a good addition to the shopping center.
Wendy's! Yes please! I was very pleasantly surprised. The customer service was great. The restaurant was clean. The food was fresh. Best of all? They had the Coca Cola Freestyle machine so you could make so many different types of diet drinks!Recommend this location. It's great. Keep up the good work.
Here's my take on Wendy's. I don't usually go for fast food, but sometimes it's just a lazy breakfast kind of morning. While I'm not specifically looking for a burger, the morning staff is always polite and quick. My experiences here have consistently met my expectations for a good meal.
Wendy was not disappointed with her meal. I chose this restaurant for my uncle's first visit after returning from another country, and he loved it. The coffee was perfect.
