Werft Brandenburg

We came from Berlin to Werft for Sunday Buffet Brunch. Admittedly, our train was delayed so we only arrived at 1.30pm (Brunch finishes at 2 pm). The entire meal felt really awkward, we were the only people in the restaurant which has an open, warehouse design so it was very echoey. There was still plenty of food left but the staff was eager to do a changeover so they started to take the food away (at 1.30) as we were serving ourselves. They also brought tables and chairs in and out, setting up the room for dinner or an event perhaps. The coffee that was included with brunch was old and completely cold. In fairness, the staff was friendly and offered to reduce price from 22€ pp to €17.50 but it still wasn't worth it! I don't think I'd pay the 22€, even if I was there early to avail of the warm food and fresh coffee.

the restaurant has a very good environment. the view of the lappe is very beautiful. the food was excellent. very well dressed in taste and excellent. the service has tried, but apparently was only in the first or second year of teaching, so some mistakes happened.

the affirmation and reality are unfortunately far apart. in the travels called a better level of eating and service must be expected. the location itself is very beautiful and has a very stylish interieur.

the tenderest velvet that I've ever run down the palate. very unusual courts and yet very fair price. especially with such good service. I'll be back.
